What can keep working

After successful pairing, Android / Fire OS can use the last configuration saved on the device. Streams come directly from the provider. Startup may wait for the portal check to time out.

What needs the portal

First pairing, playlist additions or changes and syncing need the service online. Internet, valid access and the video server are still required. Do not clear app data.

This is a point-in-time browser reachability check, not an uptime history or a provider guarantee.
